Biography:
Michelle Ysais' research focuses on understanding anti-systemic movements use of transnational networks in order to create and/or resist changes in the world system. More specifically, she is interested in the particular transnational networking avenues that allow for these movements higher levels of power in negotiating their interests in the world system arena. Other areas of interest include race and class based inequality in higher education and racialized global deviance.
