Biography:
Linda McAnnally's interests include gender, family, and criminology.

Specifically she is interested in the intersection of gender and race and how they together affect individuals' experiences as victims and perpetrators of crime and violence, their experiences in the criminal justice system, and the reentry process. Her dissertation research focuses on how states' crime rates, racial composition, economic conditions, religious composition, political beliefs of residents and political leaders, and poverty policy have influenced women's incarceration.
