Biography

My research interest is in the emerging field of biosocial criminology.  I am also interested in human rights law and constitutional criminal procedure.

Outside of academics, I try to continue my involvement in criminal defense work for indigent clients, having spent four years as a criminal investigator in both the New Haven Public Defender’s Office and the Indigent Defender’s Program of Orleans Parish, Louisiana.
